The Cordelia Rose is a beautiful pink colored English Shrub Rose. David was a renowned rose breeder and known throughout the world.

In an article on the website it was noted that he was born in 1926 and he grew up in the Shropshire countryside in England. By 1961 he had created his first rose called the Constance Spry and by 1969 he had refined the rose breeding process.

He had receive many awards for his roses.

"David Austin Roses won another gold medal at the recent Chelsea Flower Show, and founder David Austin was honored with a visit from HRH Queen Elizabeth II."
